If you’re born in Texas, you’ll get this one. If you don’t… just know that we can’t help ourselves. When you’re born here, they roll ya over and stamp ‘Texas Pride’ on your butt. It never goes away. Follows you everywhere. LOL This is from several years ago. I carved it from redwood. I still hear that state song in my head, from learning it in school. Did you have to learn your state song? ~PJ

Thanks, Nelda. It’s been fun for me dragging out all the photos.

I wasn’t born in Texas so I don’t have nothin’ stamped on my butt but I got here as fast as I could. I was raised on Texas Ave. in Colorado so it was inevitable!
Love it. Can’t wait to see your latest cigar box. And I’ll show you a cowboy boot I carved. I might just have to haul that out and put it on display it!

Well, being raised on Texas Ave. takes care of you being a Texan. We’ll work on that stamp…. I want to see that boot you carved. Drag it out!
