Fancy doodling = Zentangles 101 Don’t care what anybody says, there are no rules with this. It’s suppose to be fun… for you. If you can’t imagine how to do it… find a pen that your really like. One that writes smooth, feels good in your hand. Then add paper that doesn’t have lots of texture/bumps. Start in a corner, or the middle. Doesn’t matter if it’s a lopsided circle… just draw it. Then add a little something to it. Then do a little doodle next to it and connect them. Or if you’re stuck, pick a different place on the paper, start something new. You see, it all doesn’t have to match. Dots are always fun, some people do squares. Noooo, they don’t have to be perfect. Be brave, try it.
I use a Uniball Signo 207 black. For color I used Faber-Castell Pitt artist pen. (brush tip) I also used a black one to do some of the circles. Don’t know why the photos of the B&W doodles have a blue shade at the bottom. Believe me, it wasn’t on purpose.
