A couple of heads out of paper clay drying in front of the fan. Nope, I have no idea who they are. I don’t seem to be able to do that. I just follow… and they lead. Whoever appears… I like. It works that way for me with clay, carving wood, painting. If I want them sweet, they always look mean.
The one on the left only has a half head. Going to let it dry to a leather stage, then add more paper clay. I kept moving the nose around accidentally. Not a good idea.
I love to do these faces. So fun to see who they are. I like this size… seems easy to sculpt.
Go shopping on my website. It doesn’t hurt to look around…
Hope you’re having a really nice weekend… I’m gonna take a nap… how about you?

Paper Clay, I ordered almost 10 lbs. of that stuff that dreams are made of. Or my dreams.. anyway. :) I go thru it fast. I’ll be able to sculpt everything… well almost everything my heart desires! Yeah! They have a great website www.paperclay.com
Shopping on the internet makes me smile…. most days. I get all dressed up in my cleanest gown, usually forget to comb my hair, a diet coke very near, clean glasses, and the race is on.
Have you seen Martha Stewart’s website? I shopped her craft one today. It was the only place I could find coarse glitter. No joke. Her website runs/operates as smooth as butter. A different site I looked at had me screaming obscenities in less than 5 minutes. The list is long on what it didn’t or wouldn’t do. I got so mad I unscribed myself. Smiled when I was doing it. Martha’s site even apologized for having me to double-check my shipping address.
She also has these gorgeous paper edge punches. Latice work. Clam shells. A deep cut. Oh, and the funniest scissors. It had several blades that cut at the same time. They called them FRING scissors.
Only Martha….

I can’t help myself… I finished Willard this afternoon… let him dry… took his photos… edited the photos. Now I HAVE to show him to somebody. You’re it!

I love wizards. Smooky stuff.
Leave Willard a note so he knows he’s loved.
Have a great weekend!

These girls will be showing off on PFATT Marketplace on June 10th. They are definitely party animals.
Don’t miss their premier! Yes, they are on PFATT exclusively. They don’t intend on spreading theirselves too thin…

Lots of good artists on this site. Mark it on your favorites.

Just got back from Houston. Since Richard thinks my office rolling chair is a recliner (broke it)… I was desperate for a new one. Soooo, since he broke my favorite chair, he had to buy me a new one. So help me, if he sits in it once….. let’s just say.. he’ll be limping…
And just to be on the safe side, I got more paper clay. I have nightmares of running outta that stuff. That would just be too traumatic.
Gives me chills just thinkin’ about it.
Did I tell you? I’m gonna open my gallery again here in Carmine. If you call, I’ll open up.
That means 7 days a week. If the dust is flying, I’m not going in and out all day for people stretching their legs, or watering my grass with their dogs. Asthma does not like flying dust. Not mine, anyway.
So, I’ll be able to work in the studio, then take a break when you call. When the weather is nice, I’ll open by chance. It’s a plan. Would that work for you? I have several customers that always call before driving over. They know my gown is not cute, and they’d rather not see it ever again. Picky people…..

Can’t right now, just made myself the best looking homemade pizza. Just sliced tomatoes and good olives, with some really good cheese. Now I’m hungry. What are you having for supper/dinner? Hope it’s something you love.
Going to watch some TV and feed my face. Take a look see what I have on the online gallery page. Find something you just can’t live without! xo PJ

Just hanging around, trying to be good, taking all that medication, wishing all the dust in the world would go away. Asthma is not fun. I’ve decided I don’t want it anymore. Nada. I’m canceling my subscription. Roll me over, I am done.
So today I finally got to watch a video I had downloaded. A class on painting with thread/free motion quilting. Can’t remember the womans name right this minute. But she’s really good at what she does. And I was able to watch the entire thing without getting crazy. (I get bored fast) Now I can’t wait to try some of it.
But that’ll have to wait until I get a couple of commissions finished. I’m way behind on those…. and it’s driving me crazy. I’m hoping by next week I’ll be back in the studio, working like crazy to make up sitting and watching reruns on Law & Order.
Today I did update my Etsy store. pjsfolkart.etsy.com I’ve wanted to get some hearts on there. Hearts seem to be my favorite lately. I’d like to do a whole wall of them. Wouldn’t that be cool? From heart shrines to paintings, to fabric, to clay, to…. whatever else pops up.
Ya’ll have a great weekend. I’m going to have a lazy one. Try my best not to talk too much.
Well, that I may have to cross my fingers on. xx
