I love Buster, Bonita, & Blue. I’ll have to tell you the story on Buster and Bonita some time. It’s true, and it’s sooo funny.
The 3 cats are fun… they stay in trouble but are the best of friends. Can’t seperate them.
Crows & Moons… I can’t get enough of them. 3rd time I’ve used this idea, and it always comes out different. I really like this one. Smilin’ moon, now that’s the best.
All of these and more are on my new website. Click my name and it’ll magically take you there… or something like that.

Boo in a Box looks a lot better in this photo don’t ya think? More like he’s doin’ Halloween instead of a white sheet sale at Macy’s. I’m thinkin’ I’m gonna do a larger one of these similar.
Did ya see my CrowFish? Yes, it’s a new species… discovered by me, PJ Hornberger, of course. They travel far and wide, especially on Halloween. I highlighted him with iridescent watercolors in blues, greens, and silvers. He shimmers when you walk by. I am totally in love with him. He came out exactly like I saw him in my head. Yes, I do have visions. Sometimes I can make them appear… other times I just wish they had.
Wanna see more photos of the crow? Oh, hush… I know you do.

Just think… he could be yours….

The paint has been a flying… Lots of texture on the last two. Those are on board, the flower is on a deep canvas. Did I mention I’m having fun? Wish someone would sneak in and cook supper… all I want to do is PAINT! Have a great weekend. Share a smile with some one. xoxo PJ

Some things from my collection of folk art. The only piece that’s mine is the moon on the fridge. The bottle cap mirror frame is a favorite. It hangs out in the bathroom with some pigs. Shane Campbell’s crows look really nice with my moon. He does fun things. later…

Stanley would be happy to pose with you for photos. When the Gallery is open, he’s standing by Hwy. 290 pointing at it. He is a hoot. Next I’m thinking about doing a huge pig… or putting Uncle Sam on rollers with a new paint job. I’m having so much fun…. Hope to see ya’ll soon. xoxo PJ

I am in Control? Are you sure? Who says? This one is so busy. I think I may have been a little hyper while working on this. Just couldn’t leave it alone. Thank goodness I couldn’t find one more spot to put something else. The old spools around the frame were fun to do. The whole thing was fun to do. As you can see, it’s one of those pieces that’s going to show up anywhere.
The Moon & Crow doesn’t have to be just for Halloween. I think it could be up all year, and be fun. I did a similar one to this. I like the sky color. I did some fancy mixing until I got it where I thought it should be.
These will be on the Folk Art Gallery Online page in a few minutes. Have a great day! xo PJ

The Crow Talkin’ to the Moon… well, they have a lot to discuss. There’s the decorations to be done, the big black pot to be heated by fire… where’s those spiders at? There needs to be cobwebs from here to there. All the ghosts must be asleep, time to wake them! They have their duties to attend. Did I tell you how much I love Halloween? My very favorite holiday. I always had a great costume, and had more fun that anyone. Then when my kids were small, it was even more fun. Now we’re trying to start again. Last year was a blast. Gotta get busy on the cementary. I neeeed a cementary…
Yes, that is a blue kinda turquoise chicken. They do come in other colors you know. Just cause you haven’t seen one, doesn’t mean they don’t exists. (note: I do creative spelling) Geraldine has decided to set in the middle of the yard. She owns it, she can if she wants…
The other two are roosters on canvas board/ mounted on board. I made prints from these. These are the originals, read to hang. xoxo PJ
