I’ll be showing these soon at my first Art Party. Make sure you’re on my email mailing list so you’ll be invited. If you haven’t gotten an email from me in awhile, or you’ve changed servers, you’re not on the list. Oh, no! Better fix that soon. You don’t want to miss out on the fun. ~PJ

I kept looking at this girl… thinking something was missing. Well, of coarse. I had forgotten to shade her. She looks much better now that she’s had a touch up. Some days, it just works that way…

My version of a very long neck… very simple, color jumps at you.

It’s the arms… hands… I love those…

The paint has been a flying… Lots of texture on the last two. Those are on board, the flower is on a deep canvas. Did I mention I’m having fun? Wish someone would sneak in and cook supper… all I want to do is PAINT! Have a great weekend. Share a smile with some one. xoxo PJ

Is she gorgeous, or what? Meg Mitchell of Priscillamae.etsy.com and Priscillamaeetal blog does these lovely ladies of Paris. Each one has her own personality… very glamorous of course. This is a tote, but she wants to lay on the divan… so she may have to pose there often.
Sorry for the horrible background. I know it doesn’t do her justice. I was lazy and didn’t want to rearrange a wall. But she does look good anywhere she chooses to rest.
Go visit Meg and get your sweet self a present. You probably need and deserve one. I know I did.

A very fun heart…. and a folk art portrait of Sally, that red head. That hair is everywhere. She just loves it. It’s her calling card. They always know when Sally is there… the party has arrived!

I’ve decided these are fabric paintings. I paint ‘em with acrylics, embroidery floss, and beads. Her name is Red. She has no idea why. It’s the color of the week.
The canvas she’s on is 8 x 10.
Now I’m working on one for Valentines Day. It’s gonna be wild and crazy… just like love. Got to get back to it. xx

Zelda Sue loves to go to parties. She rarely takes off her party hat. People may stare on the bus, but she doesn’t care. A person’s got to be ready. You never know when you’ll get invited to a party. She has been known to crash a few… but always minds her manners, and helps clean up….
Libby Ann has the biggest blue eyes. Everybody says so. Nobody much understands about the crown… but that’s OK. They have a hard time looking past those big blue eyes anyway. She’s had the crown so long, wears it everywhere. It does look good on her. Everybody says so….
These two fabulous girls are starring on the Online Gallery page. Stop by and say hello…

Isn’t she gorgeous? I did her several years ago. She lives in Houston. She’s done in clay on a wooden stool. I think I did a series of 3 or 4 of these, all large women. I’d like to do more. This one was the first. I hope you’re enjoying the photos of my past work, because I’m having the best time showing them! Have a great afternoon. xx PJ

Dorothy & the Tin Man…. I did this for a special showing at a gallery in Houston many years ago. It was a delight to do, but that Tin Man didn’t want to pose. He was a stinker. Kept looking the wrong direction, falling over. Just being a Tin Man, I guess. I thought I’d never get all those leaves glued on. That’s right, they are made of watercolor paper. Don’t know where Dorothy lives now….xo PJ folk art will make you look slimmer….
