I know I’m slow…. soooo slow. But! I got some stuff up on the Gallery Online page. I did forget the measurements…. oh, my. Sooo, if you’re wondering…. email and I’ll give ya all those details.
Can’t right now, just made myself the best looking homemade pizza. Just sliced tomatoes and good olives, with some really good cheese. Now I’m hungry. What are you having for supper/dinner? Hope it’s something you love.

Making beads…

The hands & feet are polymer clay beads I’ve been making. The darker ones I painted. The face is going to be a pin. The round beads are an experiment. I started making them in paper mache. Didn’t like the look, so I covered those in paper clay. Then I used foil w/paper clay. Painted multicolored. Then mixed a satin varnish with gold pigment. Then the rest with bronze. Fun to do. Now I have to redrill the holes in some of them…. and see how I like them. This isn’t a fast process. Takes lots of time and space. I love trying new things during the holidays. Birds everywhere! The crows are embellished. Sequins, beads, buttons, brads, and wire are some of the things I used. The yellow & blue birds are singing like crazy. Her name is ‘Precious’. She’s a doll/sculpture, hangs on the wall. No clothes. She didn’t think she needed any. She likes to be dramatic, always. Loves her new hairdo. Red’s always been her favorite color. That’s why her shoes are red & shiny. She just adores shiny shoes.
This is not for a child. It is not a toy. It’s art to hang on the wall…. and to make you smile…

it’s all he ever wanted….
just one shot….
These are my first paper mache, ever. Can’t tell you how much I loved doing these. No pain. I can work with both hands, 90 miles an hour. So much fun. I think I have 3 more in front of fans. Now you know what I’ve been up to while you’ve been looking at Memory Lane stuff.
