Remember Pearl? Well, of coarse you do. She’s that fabulous flying pig I did earlier this month. Well, you won’t believe this, but she had a wreck. Not her fault, mine. Guess I didn’t put the right kind of hanger she needed or something. Anywho, she fell 8ft. to the floor. She musta rolled, that smart girl. Took me 3 inspections before I found her bobo. She got a small bruise on her foot. That’s it! That is one tough pig! Didn’t even mess up her hairdo. So… she’ll be recouping for a day or two… then back to flying in the gallery… lookin’ good. While waiting for clay to dry, I got a couple of signs painted for Stanley & Uncle Sam. People stop and take their photos, so why not with them? 
Then I got carried away and started making beads. Then bigger beads…. and a heart. I’ll show them IF they turn out. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I added a photo of the Flying Pig I’m working on. It’s on the Tutorial Page. I thought you might want to see her with wings and that tail. She is gonna be a fat thing. Not sure what her name is, but Franny keeps popping up. Got any ideas/suggestions? I really like old fashion names, especially two names. Tomorrow I’ll start gessoing, then painting. Can’t wait. She is huge.

Yes, it’s very early. But I can’t sleep, so…. I finished this painting earlier, thought I’d get him posted. Isn’t he funny? Kinda fat. He’s on stretched canvas, with a board border around it. Makes it thicker, projects out from the wall. I love the look. A new idea I came up with, instead of the fat canvases. Lots of texture on this folk art painting. Tadah! Roll me over, I’m done. Finished. Completed. And I like it! It looks a little hyper, there’s so much going on. It has lots of color. The frame is perfect for the painting. I’m very happy with it. Hope you like it too.
